Although Pyramid Stage headliners Arcade Fire, Metallica and Kasabian all delivered performances befitting their top billing, there was no doubt in most people's minds that it was Dolly Parton who stole the show at Glastonbury Festival 2014.
During her Sunday afternoon set and playing to what must have been the biggest Pyramid Stage crowd of the weekend, Parton performed some of her biggest hits including Jolene, Islands in the Stream, 9 to 5 and I will Always Love You. There was also a new song about mud, written especially for the festival, and a duet of Lay Your Hands on Me with Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora .
Elsewhere, headlining the Other Stage at Glastonbury Festival 2014 were Skrillex, Jake Bugg and Massive Attack, while the West Holts Stage line-up was topped by M.I.A., Bryan Ferry and Disclosure.
Over on the John Peel Stage, Kaiser Chiefs, MGMT and London Grammar took the top spots, with Metronomy, Mogwai and James Blake headlining the Park Stage.
135,000 tickets were sold for Glastonbury 2016, the 32nd to be held at Worthy Farm. The festival took place from Wednesday 25th June to Sunday 29th June. Tickets cost £210 plus fees and sold out 1 hour and 27 minutes after going on sale.
