Josh Barry wins Glastonbury's Emerging Talent Competition

22/04/17   Singer Josh Barry won first prize at the final of the Glastonbury Festival 2017 Emerging Talent Competition held this evening at the Working Men's Club in Pillton.

The London-based singer won a slot on one of the festival's main stages and a £5,000 Talent Development prize from the PRS Foundation.

Runners-up prizes were given to Young Yizzy and  Flohio. Both artists received a Talent Development prize worth £2,500 from the PRS Foundation.

Speaking at the event, festival organiser Michael Eavis announced that each of the eight acts that reached the final would get to play at this year's event.
